3rd world and rural areas

• Bookmobiles also allow libraries to reach those in rural areas and third world countries.

Daycares/schools

• Bookmobiles also visit daycares and specialty schools, bringing education and laughter together by putting on a story times and puppet shows.

Dogs in the library • Another outreach program the library offers is “dogs in the library”

Prison outreach

Conclusions

• The public library offers outreach programs that will bring the resources of the library to the community who aren’t able to make it to the library. The library goal is to make a difference and help the community meet their needs. Outreach programs such as these are essential for community growth.

Additional changes:

• As per requested on some of my feedback I adjusted a few slides to be longer to allow more time to read, and a couple to be shorter (ones that were simply pictures) I also amended a couple other grammatical and spelling errors.
