The window to apply for an Intra-District permit for the 2020-21 school year is from January through February, 2020.

Classes The DATA pathway includes courses in 3D Graphics & Animation, Advanced 3D Graphics & Animation, Programming & Game Design, Intermediate Game Design, Advanced Video Game Design, Computer Programming, Digital Audio Produc-tion, Studio Recording, Video Arts & Production, Broadcasting, Advanced Broadcasting, and Web Design.

District Transfer If you’re an 8th, 9th, or 10th grader attending a school in a different high school boundary in Modesto, you can request an intradistrict transfer from your home high school.

If you’re an 8th, 9th, or 10th grader attending a school outside of Modesto City Schools, you can request an interdistrict transfer from your home high school’s district office.

DATA students have an opportunity to take part in fun monthly activities after school to help build strong friendships. DATA activities include LaserQuest, Funworks, Boomers, The Gaming Hub, Rockin’ Jump, KeyQuest, Potlucks, and Pool Parties. DATA students can join the Technol-ogy and Game Club, where they have an opportunity to take part in weekly tournaments. DATA juniors and seniors have an opportunity to attend yearly trips to colleges and universities that offer program related majors.

Activities

• We have the most comprehensive high school technology learning program in the area• Learn how to use cutting edge industry-standard software like ZBrush, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Substance Painter & Designer, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, FL Studio, Audition, Cutting Edge Game Engines and Tools, and Visual Studio• Submit all your class work digitally• Smaller class sizes and student to teacher ratio• Graduate high school more prepared for the job market• Flexible schedule allows students to take additional A-G and AP courses• Gain up to 15 units of transferrable MJC college credit through our articulation agreements; and meet UC A-G requirements• Have fun working in groups with friends + great student support
