Capstone Project Spring 2012 Team Members: Jared Kehl, Brad Krause, Matthew Martineau, Tim Redican Current Schneider Electric Test Fixture: - High rate of out-of-calibration flow meters. - Difficult to remove. - Ideal fixture would use standardize equipment that can be interchanged when one piece is out for calibration. Selected Digital Flow Meter Fixture Concept 1 Fixture Concept 2 Fixture Concept 3 After selecting the digital flow meter, we designed several different test fixture concepts. Concept 1: simply replace the analog meter with the new digital meter. Concept 2: similar to concept 1, with a quick disconnect feature. Concept 3: flow meter is attached to a portable, stand alone fixture. Flow Meter Data New digital flow meter with Schneider Electric test stand. - Analog meter was disconnected. - Digital flow meter achieves similar results as the current meters. Portable stand allows flow meter to be used on any test fixture. Work instructions created for quick and easy set-up. - Demonstrates how to program multiply flow ranges. - Set Min./Max. alarms for flow verification.
