The TKH care solution for home care
Intelligent sensors produce tailored observation
Intelligent connected sensors
With intelligent sensors in combination with the ability to create scenarios that can be adjusted to the
individual care or support needs of the client and staff technology can be used far more efficient.
Thru wireless connections the sensors can be placed more easily.
False positives can also be prevented with which the number of unnecessary notifications is reduced.
Also the amount of technique needed in a home is reduced.
The TKH care solution for home care
The SBIR project CareBOX investigates the feasibility of a fall prevention system, based on
intelligent wireless sensors. The system is intended for independent seniors with dementia
that live at home. Pattern recognition is part of the system.
CareBox is a
package with small
wireless sensors
Deviations from the
pattern are being
recognized
Messaging to the caregiver
The caregiver can get a message if
something is fishy and he can consult
listings of activities over the internet to
conclude if action must be taken.
Also the caregivers can, if desired, get
a close-up view of the activities.
Sensor technology at home and lifestyle monitoring
Home care Sensors
The Ambiact is a wireless peripheral device for the VieConnector.
The smart power sensor translates the use of devices in a welfare
signal. As long as some devices such as the TV or a kitchen
appliance be used daily, everything is OK. Which device you
choose depends on the life pattern of the client.
Transform any standard home into a care home
With the new connected technologies we can
transform any home in to a care home in about
20 minutes.
If functions are no longer needed we
can take them out as easily as we put
them in without damaging the home.
This is the basic technologic idea for
the Dementia package.
a rough idea about a dementia package
Every package is tailor-made for each individual case.
The messages from the system go to one or more
(informal) caregivers
The system gives advice and contains useful up-to-date
information.
If there is (partly) professional support it can be easily
added for example by sending messages to a specialist
or by linking a care center.
If the package isn’t needed anymore than everything can
be send back and the cost will stop.
