Digital Hitler Okay, you basically just got a huge wad of weird thoughts jammed into your head, right? This is heavy stuff.

It’s life or death, literally. The thing is though, all of this overwhelming info could keep us from seeing where personal ethics really matter here. Yes, we now have control over the image we leave the world with.

But… Imagine Hitler had a digital memorial that he put together himself while he was alive. Imagine he had proud loved ones, and they decided to share it with the world. Imagine someone came across this digital memorial, complete with a glowing video of Hitler’s life and work.

This is not going to end very well. We are becoming not only the writers of our lives, but the editors. And the publishers. When we edit, we take away a little bit of the accuracy. Sure, you might not want to include those photos of all the fun you’ve had with Solo cups, but…

Well, there’s not much else to say. Our lives aren’t movies. And it’s up to you what image you leave the world with, but it’s important to remember that your image is a human image. We all have flaws, and we’re all on the internet.

With great content

comes great responsibility.
