Priorities

PRIORITY 1 is to acquire, organize, preserve, secure and sustain a

comprehensive record and memory of Chinese history and creativity;

PRIORITY 2 is to develop a national repository of human knowledge andthe creative work for the present and future generations;

PRIORITY 3 is to make its resources and services available and useful toits designed users, and provide convenient and effective access to highquality library services, collections and information resources in a variety offormats;

PRIORITY 4 is to promote the nations information literacy by addinginterpretive and educational value to the collection and resources, and tohighlight the importance of the Library's contributions to the nation's futureprogress.
