Digital Locker (DigiLocker)

How can I Sign-up for the DigiLocker?

Step 1: Click the ‘Sign Up’ option in the right upper side of the page.

Step 2: Enter your AADHAAR Number (12 Digits) and Click the ‘Use OTP’ button (If your

mobile number is registered with Aadhaar).


Step 3: Enter your OTP received in your mobile.

Step 4: Enter your ‘username’, ‘password’ and ‘confirm password’, Click ‘Submit’

button.


You are successfully created an account in DigiLocker.

How can I Upload a personal document in my DigiLocker account?

Step 1: Select ‘My Certificates’ tab and Click the ‘Upload Document’.


Step 2: Select the document which you have to upload, fill the mandatory fields and click

‘Upload’ button.

File Type: PDF/JPG/JPEG/PNG/BMP/GIF

File Size: Max Limit 1MB

All the documents will be placed under the ‘Self Uploaded Document’ of ‘My Certificates’

tab.

Uploading - Aadhaar Card

Select ‘Aadhaar Card’ as document, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’

and click ‘Upload’ button.


Uploading – Degree Certificate

Select ‘Degree Certificate’ as document, select ‘State’, ‘University’, enter ‘Exam Seat

No’, enter ‘Name as per Certificate’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter

‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.

Uploading – Driving Licence

Select ‘Driving’s Licence’ as document, enter ‘Driving Licence No’, choose the file (Max

limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.


Uploading – Electricity Bill

Select ‘Electricity Bill’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Consumer Number’, enter

‘Consumer Name’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click


Uploading – Govt ID Card

Select ‘Govt ID Card’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Govt ID Card Number’, enter

‘Name as per ID Card’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click



Uploading – HSC Certificate

Select ‘HSC Certificate’ as document, select ‘State’, ‘University’, enter ‘Exam Seat No’,

enter ‘Name as per Certificate’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’


Uploading – MNREGA Job Card

Select ‘MNREGA Job Card’ as document, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter



Uploading – Other (if Any)

Select ‘Other’ as document, enter the document name, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB),

enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.

Uploading – PAN Card

Select ‘PAN Card’ as document, enter ‘PAN Card Number’, enter ‘Name as per PAN

Card’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.


Uploading – Passport

Select ‘Passport’ as document, enter ‘Passport Number’, enter ‘Name’, enter ‘Date of

Issue’, enter ‘Date of Expiry’, enter ‘Place of Issue’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB),

enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.

Uploading – Property Tax Receipt

Select ‘Property Tax Receipt’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Name’, choose the file

(Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.


Uploading – Ration Card

Select ‘Ration Card’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Ration Card Number’, enter

‘Name’, enter ‘Total Units’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and

click ‘Upload’ button.

Uploading – Rent Receipt

Select ‘Rent Receipt’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Tenant Name’, enter ‘Owner

Name’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.


Uploading – Residence Certificate

Select ‘Residence Certificate’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Name’, enter ‘Issued

By’, enter ‘Resident From’, enter ‘Resident To’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter


Uploading – RSBY Card

Select ‘RSBY Card’ as document, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’



Uploading – SSC Certificate

Select ‘SSC Certificate’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Exam Seat No’, enter ‘Name

As Per Certificate’, choose the file (Max limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click


Uploading – Telephone Bill

Select ‘Telephone Bill’ as document, select ‘State’, enter ‘Consumer Number’, enter




Uploading – Voter ID Card

Select ‘Voter ID Card’ as document, enter ‘Voter ID’, enter ‘Name’, choose the file (Max

limit – 1MB), enter ‘Description’ and click ‘Upload’ button.
