WHAT IS A DIGITAL PERMIT?

WHAT TYPES OF PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE?

The manual has been prepared for foreign citizens to inform about the rules for obtaining a digital permit to travel around Moscow and the Moscow region during the COVID-19 high-alert period

Starting April 15, 2020 the automated permit control system has been introduced in Moscow. A digital permit is necessary for travelling by any mode of private or public transport: metro, the MCC, the MCD, surface transport, suburban trains, a taxi, a private car, a bike, a scooter, an e-scooter, a motorbike

All car-sharing services temporarily cancel their operation

There are 4 types of permits:

Validity period:till April 30, 2020

Number of trips:unlimited

Who:All volunteers and visitors of healthcare facility

Validity period:one day

Number of trips:unlimited

If you have important thingsto do

Who:All citizens travellingaround the city by anymode of private orpublic transport

Validity period:one day

Number of trips:twice a calendar week

Who:military, state andmunicipal officers,diplomatic officials,journalists, securityguards

Validity period:till April 30, 2020

HOW TO GET A DIGITAL PERMIT?

Sign up in at mos.ru. It can be done via Google and Facebook accounts

Choose "Get the digital permit for moving around the city" at mos.ru

Indicate your a phone number and a password if already registered

Choose to enter using Google or Facebook account and indicate your personal data
