BRILLIANT TECHNOLOGY PRODUCES THE BEST RESULTS

The digitally printed fabrics from Création Baumann are produced by using transfer printing. This process involves printing the design onto specially coated paper, which is then transferred onto the unprinted material using a heated calender roll. The heat releases the dyes, which form a particularly strong bond with the fabric. Their brilliance and final shade of colour then become visible on the material. This process also fixes the dyes at the same time, making the printed fabric lightfast and washable.

Send your chosen design (photo, graphic, text or logo) in digital format to printing@creationbaumann.com

2. SELECT YOUR MATERIAL

Choose one of our basic materials and indicate the size of design and pattern repeat you require.

3. OBTAIN A QUOTE

We will calculate the price per running metre and send you a print sample within one to two weeks after we have received your information and you have approved our quote.

4. APPROVE THE PRINT

Confirm that you are happy with the pattern, costs and order volume.

5. ENJOY YOUR CUSTOM-PRINTED PRODUCT

We will produce your fabric and deliver it to you on the agreed date.

WHAT ELSE TO NOTE

Volume/price: The minimum order volume is 5 running metres. Prices are calculated on a graduated scale based on the volume and basic material. A lump-sum fee of CHF 200 (EUR 150) per design is charged for the design costs. This covers the design work, colour matching and production of the print sample (approx. 50 cm de-pending on the pattern repeat). Any higher expenses are calculated on an individual basis.

Product quality: Our textiles have a natural surface texture. To achieve the best possible print, a professionally produced design with a suffi - ciently high resolution is required. The heat of the transfer print alters the feel of the fabric compared to the unprinted basic material.

Seam allowance: Let us know how much fabric needs to be left for the seams at the top and bottom.

Data/scans: We work with the latest versions of Photoshop (.tif) and Illustrator (.eps). Your design must be repeatable or reproducible, i.e. based on a repeated element. The data resolution should be at least 150 dpi in the size you require. The colour mode can be either RGB or CMYK. We recommend greyscale for black and white images. If your design includes logos or lettering, please supply all the fonts or vector data (paths) required. Scans must be in RGB colour mode and in a high resolution to ensure that the resolution of the design in its final size is at least 150 dpi.

Delivery times: Deliveries are usually made four weeks after the print sample has been approved. In the case of larger volumes, partial deliveries are possible and recommended.
