My state of mind is restless
How to do a great job and go home on time
My break point is too much pressure
The pressure is often myself
I always want things to be _useful _engaging _remarkable
It might surprise you to know I’m a project manager _or a producer _a consultant _either way I make things happen
I’ve been doing it since 1999 It’s a lot of fun
But it’s also a lot of pressure
Never enough time
Always a new approach things to learn
That’s fine apply constraints and shape
But sometimes the pressure is excessive
You can’t do a great job and go home on time
You can’t do a great job at all
The demands are beyond your time and capacity
You have a massive feeling of lack of control
You know there is other, better but you are stuck
You should wonder _how you got yourself into this _how to get yourself out
But you are exhausted
Mostly you _cope _and you breakdown _and you cope

Break the routine
Reconnect with the joy outside the window
Speak to a doctor _be signed-off _discuss feelings _be exposed to options
What did I want? _be close to the projects _have focus _have an outcome, an end point
Reframe the challenge _physical _more local _closer to the origin
Go back to work _apply some perspective _obtain some flexibility _work on the next step
