“ We are our stories. We compress years of experience, thought, and emotion into a few compact narratives
that we convey to others and tell to ourselves.”

The value of DS Effective stories inspire people for social causes by creating human connection and emotional resonance
The power of storytelling is not in telling about an event or someone else’s life, but rather in shifting the lens to using the setting, details, and events for telling your story with the experience
Stories can be used to introduce a new topic into the public dialogue, contribute to an ongoing conversation and engage people as active participants
After a digital storytelling is shared, it should be remembered for its soul, not the bells and whistles of technology
