~NOËL ISLE MADAME COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS~
Our island community gathered on Sunday, December 4th at the LeNoir Landing to be entertained by the Kidd Brothers, visit with Santa Claus, participate in a public market, listen to holiday carols, watch the lighting of the Christmas tree and enjoy festive treats. DIMA would like to send out a special thank-you to all the VOLUNTEERS & SPONSORS who assisted in making this event a reality for all to enjoy. The third weekend of August saw the Gaston LeBlanc Memorial Ball Field in Janvrin's Island become home to the 2nd Annual Isle Madame Blue-grass and Old Time Country Music Festival. A great weekend of music and fun was enjoyed by all! DIMA wishes to say 'THANK YOU' to the volunteers, sponsors, and concert goers… Plan to be with us August 18-20, 2017 for another festival showcasing talented musicians, vocalists and entertainers!

~Martell-Richard Mini Memorial Marathon~ The 12th Annual run/walk took place August 6th with 79 registered runners/walkers participat-ing in the 5km and 10 km event. This year a donation was made to The Hearts of Isle Ma-dame Disability Society. For a list of winners and times, please check www.growislemadame.com.
