DIMAC was established early in 2015 by Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan, who worked at Phuoc & Partners for around ten (10) years in a role as a Partner.

Built in the lasting principles and sustainable values, DIMAC is proudly a professional law firm with the head office in Ho Chi Minh City, two (02) main branches established in Hanoi and Da Nang City, having around twenty (20) proactive lawyers and legal assistants with in-depth knowledge in legal aspects, enriched experience and highly educated behaviors. Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan, the Founder and Managing Partner of DIMAC Law Firm, was a Partner of Phuoc & Partners for a period of approximately ten (10) years.

Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan has graduated the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and held a Master of Law Degree majoring in International Commercial Dispute Resolution Law in the United Kingdom in 2011. He joined the Bar Association of Khanh Hoa Province in Vietnam in 2006 after completing his Bachelor of Laws at Ho Chi Minh University of Law, majoring in Commercial Law in 2001 and graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. At the same year, Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan became a member of the Coordination Board of the Group of Young Lawyers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) recognized Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan as an Arbitrator on May 11th, 2012 and thereafter, Mr. Tuan moved his roles of a lawyer member in Khanh Hoa Province Bar Association to Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association in 2014.

Before joining Phuoc & Partners as a Partner, Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan had worked for several outstanding law firms of Vietnam, such as Lucy Wayne & Associates, Thang & Associates, Luat Viet and had also been a Legal Manager for several multinational foreign invested enterprises in Vietnam.

Flexible fee-charging methods We are flexible in giving fee-charging methods for Client to select, based on the value of debts, complexity of matters and the amount of work to be handled. We have two (02) types of service fees, including (i) fixed fee applied for each stage, i.e. negotiation, first instance stage, appeal stage and enforcement stage; or (ii) a fixed amount plus an amount of successful fee, equal with a percentage rate (%) of the collected amount. Our successful fee shall be divided to several levels, depend on the value of the collected amount in the principle that the more the debt is collected, the lower the successful rate is applied.

Our Service Fees

DIMAC is quite flexible to offer service fees for Clients. Our objective is to set up a reasonable fee, meeting the financial capacity of Clients and suiting with the tough degree of the work assigned to DIMAC and more importantly, the service quality always outweighs the service fee to be paid to DIMAC.

Five (05) options of service fee underneath are available to be offered to Clients, including:

• Service fee is charged on an hourly basis with the following charge-out rates:

Partner VND 6,631,500/hour (equivalent to USD300/hour)

Senior Associates VND5,526,250/hour (equivalent to USD250/hour)

Associates VND4,421,000/hour (equivalent to USD200/hour)

Paralegal VND3,094,700/hour (equivalent to USD120/hour)

Translation fee VND663,150/hour (equivalent to USD30/hour)

• Fixed Fee;

• Successful Fee;

• Integrated Fee (including Fixed fee and

Successful fee); and

• Monthly-Paid Fee.

We will offer Clients with specific fee service and

payment method after we will be fully informed

of essential information on Clients’ legal

matters.

The Fees offered to the Client are exclusive of governmental value added tax and out-of-pocket expenses which include but not limited to court/arbitration/ enforcement fees and any other similar related expenses incurred by DIMAC to provide satisfactory legal services to the Client such as traveling expenses (air fares, taxi fares and car rent), long-distance telephone charges, facsimile charges, excessive postages, photocopies, expert fees and expenses, investigation costs, mileage charges and other similar out-of-pocket expenses.
