Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology & Management (DAITM) has been set up in the year 2002 affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), with the objective to emanate the scope of technical and studies management . Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology) was established in the month of August, 2000, with the objective to emanate the scope of technical and management studies in the state of West Bengal with a view to implement the mission towards flow of steady manpower in the Industries/Establishment throughout the country. The course prepares you for the overall management of a hospital, to ensure its smooth functioning through maintenance of all infrastructure and equipment as well as coordination of various departments. The hospital administrator’s function is to ensure highest quality care at lowest cost, with the objective of ensuring patient satisfaction. Internship is arranged for our students at reputed hospitals.

Course DescriptionBCA is a new age degree course in the field of computer applications. The duration of the course is normally three years. It is a program where students are exposed to various areas of computer applications including the latest developments keeping pace with the industry. The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career.

Course DescriptionThe degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing specialization in a particular area. BBA programs expose students to a variety of ‘core subjects’ and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area. The degree also develops the student’s practical, managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability. Seminars & WorkshopsNASSCOM Organised a seminar Tech-Unique 1.0 at CII Auditorium at Salt Lake Kolkata supported by NIIT. The seminar offered a wonderful bouquet of powerful speakers ranging from head of prestigious organisations like NIIT, Globsyn, RS Software and many other software companies. There was also an interaction between the young achievers in different.

DAITM students Amballika and Disha were enriched by the experience as they gained an exposure to the latest trends in the IT World and how to be upgraded about the industry need. The event was followed by a lunch and an interactive session.

Ragging free campusWe have zero Tolerance Policy for Ragging. Ours is a ragging free campus. We have an Anti Ragging Cell and a Complaint Management Cell consisting faculty members, non-teaching staff, student and parent representatives to take care of all the reported issues. We have 24 x 7 CCTV surveillance.

Their performance were very well acclaimed by all the panel members in both the first and second phases.

Seminar on "Digital Image Processing and Machine Learning" was held on 28th July 2018 at college campus of Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology and Management. Dr Asish Kumar Dhara (Asst Professor, IIIT Naya Raipur) & Ms Jhilum Mukherjee ( Senior Research Associate CU) conducted the seminar and connected with our students with profound knowledge about the subject.
