If you have attended one of the Brunswick High School musical events, then you know what I mean when I say they are truly exceptional. Ifyou have not yet had the opportunity to join us for a concert, then Iencourage you to attend one of the winter performances. Over a thirdof our students are involved in the BHS music program and it contin-ues to grow every year. On December 7th the students in the band pro-gram will be directed by Mr. Scarpone and will perform at 7:00pm inCrooker Theater. The winter choral performance, directed by Mrs.Albert, is scheduled for Thursday, December 21st at 7:00pm in Crook-er theater. Mr. Scarpone and Mrs. Albert do an incredible job of select-ing pieces from around the globe that challenge our students and cap-ture and hold the attention of the audience. We hope to see manymembers of the community alongside the families of our students inthe audience. I promise that the performances will make your night andleave you wanting an encore.
As we look ahead, there are many events at BHS to look forward to.Visit BHS’s website (http://www.brunswick.k12.me.us/bhs) to stay up-to-date on school news and upcoming events.
