The Strip @ Grosvenor

The Strip @ Grosvenor

Blue Plate Bar & Grill Specialises in all things American. Must try the Buffalo Wings with the blue cheese sauce for dunking and they have a great range of Wine from the Napa Valley and good ol’ American Brew.Firefl y Starting the trend was Firefl y, specialising in Spanish Tapas and a huge wine selection. Try their infamous Zucchini fi res or the 6 hour Port Braised Beef Cheek.Garden Brasserie It’s like walking into a garden with one wall covered in vines. The Garden Brasserie is all about Wine, Cocktails and shared plates. The Treehouse cocktail bar even makes their own bitters. On the menu must-haves are Grilled Baby Back Pork Ribs or the Kinkawooka Mussels.EnoPizzeria A very busy pizzeria on the strip offering a huge range of delicious wines to eat with some very delicious pizza. We love the Mare e monti made of sautéed prawns, spinach, tomato sauce cherry tomato and a touch of rocket and chilli but there is plenty of other dishes, other than pizza, to choose from. The wine menu is equally delightful with bottles stacked high around the restaurant.Pony Stylish architecture. Great place to go out with colleagues or a romantic night with your favourite person. For entrée Dining Out had the Blanched asparagus, salted ricotta, pinenuts, salsa verde, lemon. Next was the Swordfi sh, smoked chorizo, saffron, zucchini, tomato and white beans. The service was amazing and a great bonus was the huge selection of wine by the glass.White Hart Boutique Cocktails, Fine Wines, tapas but most importantly casual funky dining. If mystery and adventure is what you are after then order a Breakfast Mojito, a very unique cocktail to start the day. If you’re hungry, White Hart offers diners a range of luxury pub grub, created by the famous Danny Russo.Charlie Lovett Slow down a few paces and check out Charlie Lovett situated on the other side of the roundabout. Open for breakfast and lunch and afternoon tea. Coffee is their masterpiece, roasting their own and boy do they get it right. Great sandwiches too, Dining Out’s favourite is the chilli chicken and ask for it to be toasted!Kyushu An oldie but a goodie, Kyushu was one of the fi rst restaurants to open on the strip and is still packed every evening. Bookings are essential but once you get in you’ll be spoilt with a beautiful japanese menu. Go for the Soft Shell crab, easily one of the most selected dishes on the menu.

Gone are the days where people living on the North

Shore had to make the trip across the Harbour Bridge

to experience Sydney’s most stylish cocktail bars and

restaurants.

Neutral Bay has now come to life and has certainly got it

right with the opening of some great bars and restaurants on

Grosvenor Street, set back a mere 100 metres from the hustle and bustle of Military

Road.
