+Call to Worship (From Psalm 71) In you, O Lord, I take refuge; never let me be put to shame. In your righteousness, deliver me; incline your ear and save me. Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, and my salvation.

Sharing Our Celebrations and Concerns, and Pastoral Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Presentation of God’s Tithe and Our Offerings “The Morning Trumpet” by B.F. White; duet arr. by Ovid Young

Brian Carpenter, tenor; Timothy Tucker, baritone

“Oh, when shall I see Jesus and reign with him above, and shall hear the trumpet sound in that morning? And from the flowing fountain, drink everlasting love, and hear the trumpet sound in the morning? Oh, shout

glory! I shall mount above the skies when I hear the trumpet sound in that morning. But now I am a soldier, my Captain’s gone before; and I hear the trumpet sound in that morning. He’s given me my orders and He bids me ne’er giver o’er, when I hear the trumpet sound in that morning. Oh, shout! I shall mount above the skies, when I hear the trumpet sound in that morning. When shall I be delivered from this dark world of sin, and shall hear the trumpet sound in that morning? And with my blessed Jesus, drink endless pleasures in, and shall hear

the trumpet in that morning? Oh, shout glory, glory! I shall mount above the skies, when I hear the trumpet sound in that morning.”
