Why is it ‘extreme’’? Christ doesn’t call his disciples to mediocrity or to

lukewarm-ness. Rather, He calls us to be radically

transformed. Extreme Faith Camp provides a

jumpstart for young Catholics to rev their faith up

and help them realize that God wants an intimate,

life-changing relationship with them.

The mission of Extreme Faith Camp is to light a fire

in young people that they can take back to their

families, parishes and schools, helping to ignite

youth ministry around the diocese.

What is Extreme Faith Camp? Extreme Faith Camp is a Catholic summer camp

for middle school students. It is open to those

who have completed 6th—8th grades by the sum-

mer of 2017. The camp is led by an EXTREME

TEAM of youth ministers, adults and senior high

youth from participating parishes. First time high

school leaders serve on the PRAYER TEAM.

Extreme Faith Camp is full of exciting adventures

like rock climbing, ropes courses, kayaking, canoe-

ing, swimming, mountain biking, and camp-wide

games; as well as powerful engaging talks, music

and a wide variety of prayer experiences including

Mass, Adoration, Confession, the Liturgy of the

Hours and more.

Why should YOU come?

Most enjoyable and faith-fulfilling place I’ve

ever been. I wish it was longer.

– Lucas, age 13

Camp was the greatest thing I ever went to.

Adoration was the most mind blowing and

touching and a experience I won’t forget.

– Dayne, age 11

I really felt that I got closer to God a lot!! It

opened my heart.

– Marissa, age 12,

Extreme Faith Camp was literally the best

week of my life. I was full of joy and fully

encountered God.

– Riley, age 15

Only can be explained in one word… FUN!

– Julia, age 13
