Direct drive and without energy loss
The air end compressor and motor are directly flanged by
a casing, where the elastic coupling is placed.
This kind of assembly is the most effective one, due to:
• Eliminates the transmission loss produced at the belt system.
• Guarantees a perfect alingment of the compressor with the motor.
• It doesn't require maintenance.
• It reduces the vibrations of the rotor, which prolongs the life
of the bearings.
High performance rotors
The whole range uses rotors with new 5/6 design, with the latest
and newest profile, which remarkably improve the performance
of the traditional rotors with 4/6 design.
As they have been worked in high precission machines, the internal
loosenesses of the rotor have been reduced.
¿Rotor's revolutions? -The optimum ones
All the rotors have a performance curve like the one at the right
chart. Taking into account that there is an optimum range of revolutions
for using each rotor, this range varies depending on the size of it.
When the rotor works out of this optimum range, the performance
slows down due to the following reasons:
• If the rotor turns at very low revolutions, the air flow is too slow
and many internal leaks are produced between the
rotors, and between these and the housing that holds thems.
• If the rotor at very high revolutions, there are too many dynamic losses
due to the air friction with the inside part of the rotor.
At the range ER-55 PMX, the rotors are only used within the optimum
range area. For this reason, there are three different size rotors
depending on the model (up of 5) of the machine.
Direct drive: reliable and proffitable
Integrated oil separator
The oil separator, with an exclusive design, is made up of
one tank containing inside several elements, which cause,
by means of the centrifuging and the change of air flow direction,
the first oil separation.
Integrated refrigerators with flameproof motor
The refrigeration pack has been specifically designed for
its use at ER-55 PMX compressors, and they make one
integrated set.
The advanzed design of the fan's blades reduces:
• More than 30% of energy consumption with regard to the fans
with conventional blades.
• The emitted noise.
• Motor with Ex II 26 EEx, T1, T2, T3 classfication for
Divission 1, Type 1 classed areas .
As it has been integrated, presents big advantages when
compared with solutions where the fan is set independently from the
radiator, because both the collector and the position of the
fan are the best ones. This assures that the air flow and the pressure
are son uniform on the whole surface of the radiator.
This system allows the compressor to work at full load with the
doors open, which is completely necessary for testing the
machine during the machine's maintenance.
Direct access to radiator
The refrigerators need frequent cleaning operations in
order to keep their efficiency. In order to make easier this routine
the ER range have a direct access lockgate that allows to do
this job within a few minutes.
