Summary of Work
Responsible for administration of Medicaid, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, andHome and Community-Based Services. The Division has approximately 60 full time staff who areresponsible for policy development, program administration, utilization review, and implementation offederal and state laws. Oversee a biennial budget of $2 billion.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree and eight years of senior management level experience in theadministration of Medicaid programs, other major human service funding or reimbursement programs(such as Public Assistance, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Child SupportEnforcement); OR a bachelor’s degree and eight years of senior level management experience inhealth care administration including extensive experience with Medicaid regulations andreimbursement. Experience must have included supervision of professional level staff, budgetbuilding and budget management.
