Mr. and Mrs. Guy Faulkner went to Cooperstown Monday to consult his doctor. Guy remained in the Bassett hospital untU Friday. Dr. and Mrs. Max Finkelstein of Jersey City spent from Wednesday to Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Moses Lobel. Weekend guests of the Lobels were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Herzog and daughter, Jill, of Morristown, N. J..Mr. Herzog is a nephew. Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor went on the out-of-state dairy tour sponsored by Delaware county extension service. The tour took in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvannia visiting several places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fairbairn and family and Mr. and Mrs. William Hosier and family spent the weekend at Beaverkill campsite. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sanford of McGraw spent the weekend at their camp and visited his father, Cecil Sanford. Mr. and Mrs. Jon Hick of Cortland spent the week at her brother’s camp and visited her father, Cecil Sanford. Mr. and Mrs. Sol Romm hp returned from a trip to CalifuHiiia. They visited their daughter, Carol, at Portland, Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. Berl Nussbaum at Seattle. They returned by the way of Canada. Mr. and Mrs. William Elliott, accompanied by Fred Ruchar of the Barkaboom returned home Sunday from a trip to Oshkosh, Wis., where they attended the International Experimental Air- craft association convention. Jimmie Ruff of Raleigh, N. C. spent a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Ruff, and brother, Donnie. Miss Cathy White of Raleigh was a Saturday night and Sunday visitor. Jim met her at Kennedy airport Saturday. She had returned from a European visit. Harvey Sherman and daugh- ter, Julie, and two girl friends spent the weekend at the Sherman home. Mrs. Sherman’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Goodman of Tarrytown, also visited. Mrs. Sherman and son, David, return- ed to Babylon with her family after spending a week here. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Worden spent the weekend with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Ragusa, at Croton-on^Hudson. Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor and sons, Donnie and Kennie, attend- ed the Otsego County fair Friday. The Taylors were judges for the float parade. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Ruff had a family dinner Sunday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Damgaard and family of Bovina, and Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Taylor of Oregon. Mrs. Taylor is a daughter of the Damgaards. They recently returned from Antiquo. Jimmie Ruff and Cathy- White of Raleigh, N. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ruff also attended. Joe Russo of Brooklyn is spending a week of vacation with his wife and her aunt at their home hefe. Pat Dinardo of Howard Beach spent the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Karet of Philadelphia spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nussbaum. Mr. and Mrs. Hillis Faulkner and family of Shandaken had a family picnic Sunday at their camp. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lunn, son, Danny, and daughter, Sandy, and her two children of Windsor Locks, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lunn and Mr. and Mrs. A1 Nelson and daughter, Susan, of Margaret- ville, Leo Faulkner of Shandaken and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Faulkner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Faulkner and sons, Lee and Glen, and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Palen of New Kingston. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cross of Chenago Bridge have been spending a week with Mrs. Cross’s father, William E. Grif­fin, here. They were accompa­nied by their children. Dale and Denise, and returned to their home on Sunday. Mr. Cross is attending summer school at

Oneonta state. Mr. and Mrs. Cross and children and Mr. Griffin attended the college play, “Where’s Charlie” at the college Thursday evening. The play was directed by Dr. Muriel A. Kellerhouse, another daughter of Mr. Griffin.

Mrs. Lena Greene was absent from her work at William E. Griffin’s here from Tuesday until Friday. She resumed her work this week.
