TTA StagetrackerJohn Torger Skjelstad,Flemming SorensenAll R&D, software development, assembly and testing is carried out in-house at TTA in Norway. Two of thebiggest challenges in reinforcement arethat the actor’s voices do not appear tooriginate from the performers but froma detached place above or beside thestage; it is also often difficult to tellwhich actor is speaking with manyactors onstage. TTA StageTracker allowsthe creation of a more immersive, realistic listening experience, where thereinforced sound tracks the performersonstage. Sound designers can alsocreate sound effects in QLab and havethem follow the performers, andStagetracker Cues can also be firedfrom QLab to control performers’localisation. We are convinced thatlocalised, natural sound will becomeone of the next ‘big things’ in audio. Weaim for Stagetracker FX to be at theforefront of that revolution.tta-sound.com
