Creative Center for Rehabilitation (CCR) is a private center serving students from the age of 3 years old to 27 years old. We have 4 villas in one compound to facilitate the needs of all of our students. The primary aim of our program is to develop the whole of the special child. We make use of a child's natural curiosity to install the desire to learn and to make learning fun and satisfying so a child will continue to seek it out and learn.
Class session include language development activities, varied arts and crafts projects, games and play materials for large and small motor skill development, sensory activities, nature and science activities, simple cooking and food preparation projects, as well as other developmental appropriate learning activities. There is also speech and language, occupational and physical therapies available for those children that require it.
We are currently catering to a range of cases including ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Developmental Delays, Mild Autism & Learning Difficulties and other challenging conditions. Students are grouped according to their disability and their abilities with two sessions in the day; a morning & evening session. Our morning session runs from 7:45 AM to 2 PM and our evening session runs from 4PM – 8PM

Al Wafa Social CentresThe Al Wafa Social Centre relies on trained Omani volunteers to provide services to disabled children and their families. The social centre receives support from national organisations, the private sector, and other groups who assist with financing. Additional governmental support in the form of managerial and technical knowledge comes from the Department of Rehabilitation. These service programs are initiated by the Ministry to promote volunteering and in response to a request by an Omani national. When a request is submitted to set up a volunteer program, the application is reviewed by the centre. If approved, the program is announced by the Undersecretary of The Ministry. Al Ahlam Training ServicesAl Ahlam Training Services was set up in 2002 by Kate Clarke. Born and educated in the UK, Kate had spent over 10 years in the education and training field in Oman when she decided to form her own company to advise students on English language study in the UK. Holding a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification, and with language teaching experience at National Training Institute and the British Council, Kate understood the unique needs of Omani students trying to acquire proficiency in English and she quickly established links with a network of language schools throughout the UK.
Increasingly, she discovered that many students were learning English in order to proceed to higher studies and in 2005 she obtained a licence from the Oman Ministry of Higher Education to operate a Higher Education Services company. Drawing on her experiences as a Lecturer at Muscat College, Kate was able to identify the major challenges that face students on degree programmes and she devised briefing and counselling sessions that would address the concerns of students preparing to move abroad.
Initially intending to specialize in UK education, Kate later decided to extend the Al Ahlamportfolio to include study in Ireland (where she was born). Since then, Al Ahlam has placed many hundreds of students at a variety of language schools, colleges and universities in the UK and Ireland. There are no signs of this slowing down, the UK in particular remains the No. 1 country of choice for Omani students looking for overseas education.

Pizza For ReadingPizza for reading is our reading system where children borrow and read books and then come to our centre to make a pizza with us as a reward! It is great for children’s reading development and also encourages them to think about the books they have read by giving them a vote out of 10. Children love it!
Bake and Fun!An exciting course for 4‐6 year olds where your child will develop their baking skills as well as taking part in other fun crafts too!As part of this course we teach children the importance of eating healthy food, hygiene in the kitchen, safe food preparation and how to present food so it looks as good as it tastes.

Little Chef!Fun children’s cookery classes for 8–13 year olds . An exciting course where your child will get to cook and eat nutritious food and discover the health benefits of planning complete balanced meals. Your child will learn about kitchen safety, picking the correct kitchen utensils, food hygiene, designing balanced meals and the benefits of eating healthy meals.
Creative Craft!Fun, crazy craft and creativity for children age 4‐6 years old !In our Creative Craft course we will teach your child a range of art and craft techniques from sewing, painting, hand printing, stamp painting and even gardening!
Sewing Crafts Our sewing club is for children aged 8 – 13 years old and caters for a range of abilities. During the six week course you will use both hand and machine sewing to work on lots of exciting projects which you also get to keep.As well as learning correct sewing techniques your child will develop their design skills by planning projects and matching colours and materials.
Happy SaturdayLooking for a fun weekend club to keep your children busy? Then we have just the thing! Our Happy Saturday club is for 7 – 12 year olds and runs every Saturday between 12‐2pm.With the range of activities we offer there will be no more bored children! Crafts, reading, team work, games, music. Communication skills, you name it, we do it! You can just drop in to Happy Saturday any week you feel like it.
Origami Club!Do you want to learn how to fold a simple piece of paper into really cool things like aircraft, animals and flowers? Then come to My Book and Me’s Origami Club for 7‐12 years olds. The Japanese art of paper folding will develop your concentration and hand skills whilst you have fun!
GardeningMy Book and Me runs two gardening clubs, one for 4‐6yr olds and one for 7‐12yr olds. Our club will introduce your child to plants, wildlife and help them appreciate nature whilst having fun and in the sun! Learn the skill of Crochet at My Book and Me’s club for 8‐13yr olds. We will be starting from the beginning so all children can learn the skills and create some beautiful pieces that they get to keep at the end of the course. This club is great for developing hand co‐ordination and concentration whilst also having fun!
Drama and TheatreMy Book and Me along with Aspirations Theatre Club are proud to bring you a range of drama and theatre course catering for 4‐6yr olds and 7‐12yr olds. Learn about voice projection, acting skills, dance and even take part in a real theatre performance to a live audience! Fantastic for social skills, communication, and self‐confidence.
