What is 4K?n 4K is a type of video broadcast quality that delivers four times the picture resolution of 1080p Full HD, that’s eight million

How much does a DIRECTV 4K movie cost?n There is no monthly 4K fee to become authorized. Pricing for 4K movies will range from $3.99 - $15.99, and will be on a

per-movie-basis.

How many 4K movies does DIRECTV have?n The number of available 4K movies will vary from week to week. There will be at least two (2) 4K movies available to watch

instantly at all times. Customers must opt-in to Genie Recommends to access these instantly available VOD movies.

How many 4K movies can I watch simultaneously in my home?n If a customer has multiple 4K TVs in their home, they can only view one (1) DIRECTV 4K movie at a time.

Where can I find DIRECTV 4K movies?n There are 5 ways customers can locate 4K movies:

1) Access via the 4K chicklet within the “Search and Browse” section of the Menu2) Access via the 4K homepage 3) Access via the Movies homepage within the Menu4) Access via Guide Banners within the on-screen guide5) Access via Smart Search

How do I order a DIRECTV 4K movie?n To order a 4K movie, customers must schedule the desired title to record in advance in order to watch the movie later

(unless it is one of the two (2) instantly available VOD 4K movies). Once a title is recorded, it will show up in the Playlist and have a guide banner starting at Channel 125. Once the customer selects the 4K movie and begins watching, they will be prompted to purchase the movie.

n Customers will be informed of the specific time that the 4K movie is available to watch on their playlist.

Why are there multiple posters for the same PPV movie?n There may be multiple posters for the same movie if it is available in multiple resolutions like 4K, HD and SD.

If I order a DIRECTV 4K movie, can I watch it in HD or SD?n No, currently you can only watch a DIRECTV 4K movie in 4K resolution. If you want to watch that same title in HD or SD,

you’ll need to order separately.

Do I need to wait to watch my DIRECTV 4K movie?n If a customer wants to watch a 4K PPV movie, they must schedule the movie to record in advance in order to watch it

later. If a customer is opted-in to Genie Recommends, there are 2 instantly available 4K movies they can watch without waiting. These titles have a green arrow icon.

Do I need a broadband-connected HD DVR to get DIRECTV 4K?n Yes, your Genie HD DVR must be connected to the Internet for a successful installation and viewing experience. Please

note, the 4K content is delivered via satellite, not through your broadband connection, so your broadband usage is not impacted by the downloads.

Can a DIRECTV customer purchase a 4K TV that is not DIRECTV 4K Ready and view DIRECTV 4K content?n No, at this time a DIRECTV customer must purchase a DIRECTV 4K Ready TV in order to view 4K content. Customers
