June 2020 Dirigo Pines 9 Alumni Dr. Orono, ME 04473 Greetings, The calendar says it's almost Summer and the weather seems to agree! The warm temperatures have helped a quick turn around from a drab Spring to warm feelings of Summer. While many things are changing in regards to precautions and guidelines around us, we will still continue to keep our activities with small groups and maintaining distancing. As things change we will continue to send out updates. This month we will try a new walking group on Thursdays at 9:00am. Depending on how it goes and how many come we may develop this more to plan walks other places and times. For now we will begin walking around Dearborn Pond as a group. Hopefully we will be able to see some of the new ducklings. It seems as though the number of ducks as Dirigo continues to increase every year. Thank you all again for your flexibility and understanding as we try new activities. Your feedback has been important to me as I continue to adjust the calendar of events.
