Warning/Impostor

Kelly Michele Sutton,aka: Kelly Michele Rollins

Kelly Michele Sutton presented a copy of license and secured employment as a registered nurse with a home health agencyin the San Antonio Area. Ms. Sutton worked for the company from March 8, 1999 through April 9, 1999. In April 1999, thesupervisor started to suspect that Ms. Sutton was not a registered nurse and terminated her as a result of her poor nursingassessment abilities. The facility contacted the Board office to verify the license and they were informed that the numberprovided by Ms. Sutton belonged to someone else. The Board is pursuing legal action against Ms. Sutton through the BexarCounty District Attorney's Office.

Elizabeth Frances Younts

Elizabeth Frances Younts secured employment as a registered nurse with a group of physicians in the Austin area. Ms.Younts worked in this office from August 1998 through January 1999. Ms. Younts presented a copy of an altered licenseto obtain employment, the number on the license was a valid number belonging to an RN. The facility discovered thatMs. Younts was not a registered nurse because a staff member reported that she was asking questions that an RN shouldknow and they contacted the Board office to verify her social security number and date of birth which did not match thecomputer information maintained by the Board. Ms. Younts was confronted with their finding and she admitted to forgingthe license. The Board is pursuing legal action against Ms. Younts with the assistance of the Austin Police Departmentwho may submitted the case to the Travis County District Attorney's Office.

In the April issue of the RN Update we notified our readers that Julieanne J. Hueske worked as a registered nurse withouta license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas. Ms. Hueske was employed with a home health agency in theBrenham, Texas from September 1998 through December 16, 1999. Ms. Hueske was indicted of a Second Degree Felonyoffense of “Tampering with a Government Record” which resulted from her forging of an RN license to secure employmentas a registered nurse. On April 27, 2000, Ms. Hueske was issued a deferred adjudication with eight (8) years deferredprobation, $2000.00 Fine, Court Cost and 500 hours of community service. The case was handled by the WashingtonCounty District Attorney's Office, we thank them for their work in prosecuting the case.

Shelli Lynn Lukey secured employment with a group of physicians in Houston, Texas and worked therefromMay18,1998 through May 29, 1998. She was terminated after they unable to verify licensure in Texas orCalifornia.Ms.LukeysubmittedanapplicationforlicensurebyendorsementtotheBoardofNurseExaminers,howeverwhenstaffcontacted the California BoardtheirrecordsrevealedthatMs.Lukeyisnotbeenlicensedtopracticeprofessional nursing in thestate of California.

Elizabeth Gayle Bailey secured employment as a registered nurse with a home health agency in Kirbyville, Texas. Ms.Bailey worked at the agency for approximately two weeks during the month of July 1999. The administrator contacted the Board and was unable to verify licensure.
