Pennan Brae is a Vancouver-based singer-song-writer whose music has a vintage 1970s tinge employing lush string arrangements, roaming pedal steel guitar and a rich, driving beat.

Pennan’s 5th release, ‘The Astronot: Gravity’ features 8 songs & follows up on the 11-song ‘The Astronot Soundtrack’, which accompanied the 72-minute feature film. ‘Gravity’ features club & dance inspired mixes of tracks off the original soundtrack, including lead singles, ‘Strut’,

‘Walk With Me’ & ‘Crashland’. These tracks were mixed by producers Kirk Kelsey & Eric Alexan-drakis & then mastered at Abbey Road Studio by Grammy Award-winning artist Sean Magee. The album includes these 3 original singles which feature world renowned drummer Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Duran

Duran, Eric Clapton) and INXS bassist Garry Gary Beers.
