Day 1: Friday- Transfer to pier and board the Century Star in the evening.- River guide will introduce the cruise and the facilities on board. - Depart for Yichang.

Day 2: Saturday (B L D)- Relax and enjoy the countryside of Southwest China.- Meet with the cruise director and learn interesting details about

the Yangtze River.- After lunch visit the Shibaozhai Pagoda, a magnifi cent pagoda

built against a cliff. - Captain’s Welcome Dinner in the evening, followed by a dance

and song performance by the crew.

Day 3: Sunday (B L D)- After breakfast pass the fi rst of the Three Gorges, the narrow

Qutang Gorge, followed by the mystic Wu Gorge with its famous mountains and green slopes.

- After lunch disembark for an excursion to the Shennong Stream, a small tributary of the Yangtze River and the main transportation link for the farmers living in the area.

- In the late afternoon return to the cruise vessel and see the last of the gorges, Xiling Gorge.

- Dinner in the evening.

Day 4: Monday (B)- After breakfast begin last shore excursion and visit the

massive Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydro-power plant in the world.

- Then board the cruise vessel and pass the ship locks of the gigantic dam and enter the eastern section of the Xiling Gorge.

- Arrive in Yichang; disembark around noon. - Transfer to airport, train station or hotel.

Day 2: Tuesday (B L D)- After breakfast the cruise vessel will leave Yichang and enter the

beautiful Xiling Gorge.- View the ship locks of the massive Three Gorges Dam. - After lunch disembark and visit Three Gorges Dam, the largest

hydro-power plant in the world. - Then board the ship and enter the western part of the Xiling Gorge.- Meet guide and learn interesting details about the Yangtze River. - Captain’s Welcome Dinner, followed by a song and dance

Day 3: Wednesday (B L D)- After breakfast pass the Wu Gorge, followed by a trip to the

Daning River, a small tributary of the Yangtze River and the main transportation link for the farmers living in the area.

- Return to the cruise vessel in the afternoon.- Head through the narrow Qutang Gorge in the evening.

With its relaxed atmosphere and natural beauty, Hangzhou is the ideal destination for a romantic getaway. Of its many alluring attractions, West Lake is probably the most visited. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this spectacular lake is surrounded by green rolling hills, winding footpaths, and lovely gardens. It is also home to Zhang Yimou’s Impression West Lake, a song and dance extravaganza that tells a well-known Chinese love story.
