Do you get tired of hearing all the negative news, the fear stories and exploitation of

negative attitudes people have? Are you tired of the constant reminders of how

inadequate you are compared to others? How many bills you have and how many things

the kids want?

These stories and situations tend to make us feel stressed, feel like we’re not good

enough, that we haven’t made enough progress in our life or that we are “behind where

we should be”. Not to mention the negative feelings toward others human beings that are

continually in our faces through all media outlets, really affects people in our local

community, city, state, country and our world.

If we continue to live this way we will be stressed out as kindergartners. Oh, we already

are. And our society will have a constant fear and mistrust of everyone, everything and

we will no longer communicate with each other civilly or face to face.

The effects of this on our health is already progressing as so many people are on anti-

stress medications, anti-inflammatory medicines caused by stress, and mental health

issues are at a tremendously high levels and local news stations constantly report hate

crimes, murders and political mistrust and misgivings.

But what if this trend can start to be reversed? What if we could communicate peacefully

with people we don’t know or understand that well and find out who they are, what they

do, what they like? How would you feel if you were not forgotten, that your looks are

great, that you are in the right place for you and that you don’t have to fear everything?

That you could enjoy the moments you are in now, smile and not worry about later. That

you don’t need stress medication or don’t have health issues.

As an Encouragement Engineer, that is what I help

individuals and groups with. I help people to combat

the negativity that inundates our daily lives with

positive encouragement. Showing the value of

taking positive action toward our goals. To help

people see the positive value they all have within

them. I encourage the value of learning and growing

and the great affects it offers us as well as those we

share our knowledge with.

Now I wasn’t fed from any silver spoon and I have had many trials in my life. When I was

6 years old, I lost my mother to cancer. Two months later my grandmother passed and

on Christmas day that year my grandfather, my dad’s dad, passed away. As the years

progresses I experienced more of this part of life called death. I realized early on that my

purpose on this earth was not to sink into my sorrow but to learn, grow and gain light from

these situations and I realized I am here to help others see the positive instances in our

lives and build on those. From some of these “life lessons”, I learned to be determined,

to work hard and be honest. To get to know people and not pass judgement. After all, if

we don’t know the full story how can we assume anything. I learned that too, don’t assume

anything. I learned early in life how to do good work that people valued which would allow

me to get pay raises and build trust that I could do good work. These skills helped me to

create 7 books, become an award winning speaker and be a guest on local and national

media outlets.

Losing loved ones is not easy. Failing licensing exams is not fun. Getting your heart hurt

in relationships sucks. Not having a clear vision of your life path by the time your 18 is

NOT a crime or wrong. We are better than those snapshots in our life. We are created

with greatness within us but we have to choose a positive path to come away from these

events with a good outlook.

Therefore I believe what we put into our minds, bodies

and souls is very important to combat the viral negativity

in our world. That world can be your home, work, car or

the friends you hang out with.

We need to put good ideas into our minds constantly. We

need to listen to positive, encouraging stories in our car

instead of the negative news. Garbage In – Garbage Out.

Greatness In – Greatness out. If we are not encouraged

in our environments, we can take steps to encourage

ourselves. Listening to great sermons, speeches,

podcasts and reading inspiration material changes our

mindset. The more positive thoughts and ideas we put in

our mind, the more positive ideas we give out. As Zig

Ziglar said “Motivation won’t last, but neither will a good bath, that is why I recommend

you do it daily.”

I have learned the benefits of working out and the energy it gives you and the extra

oxygen to your brain which gives you great thoughts. In my presentations, I reflect this

with customized energetic and enthusiastic presentations that meet the needs of the

audience. Presentations that give an energetic and positive perspective to life situations

that affect our attitude and output. Giving people positive hope that shows the value of

taking positive action toward your goal. The feeling of gratitude, accomplishment and

desire to grow and achieve more.

A few years ago I received a request for business coaching. This person was burned

out and ready to hang up his business after 20 years. He was stressed out, tired of getting

the same run around scenarios of bad workers and people wanting him to reduce his

prices. From all this, his overall attitude was one of defeat and poor outlook. We worked

together for several months changing how he looked at the daily scenarios, reading

positive, encouraging books, listening to positive CD’s and audios whenever he drove his

vehicle. I encouraged him to see his immense value he had in his business by the type

of person he is, a person of honesty and integrity. Two great values in today’s society.

Through this coaching he made $64,000 in business revenue that year. The next year

he doubled that with the continued knowledge and skill he learned. The following year
