How astonishing and awe-inspiring it is to know that God is committed to our life.

We have not being called into a kingdom without supervision and by calling us out of

darkness and into His marvelous light, the pathway to a perfect destination was lightened. God has

purposed in His heart to bring to us to that perfect destination which is His home.

The days of our youth, are the days God calls us. God knows that the glory of a youth is in his strength

and that man's greatest strength is foolishness to Him, hence, Abraham's call entailed him to come out

of his strength. God's call are not without promises, but if your location is bad, your allocation will not

be granted. Abraham got his promises when he obeyed God by following Him all the way and God

never failed in His commitment.

God's commitment to you is never ending, He is determined to make you the best copy of

what you think you are. The best Abraham would have been without God is a Herdsman, he'll have been

a good shepherd, and he wouldn't have been a source of blessing to the whole nation as God made him.

The book of Isaiah (isaiah5:2) tells a story about a vineyard owner: And he fenced it, and gathered out

the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also

made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild

grapes. (KJV). Taking God as the vineyard owner and a life as the garden, the life was expected to bring

forth fruits- grapes but after God's commitment to this specific life, it brought forth wild grapes. This

teaches that God is committed to you being your best version but if you are not committed to being the

best, you will remain a mediocre. Yes you might bear fruits – wild grapes but they will be less compared

to the kind of fruits - grapes, the vineyard owner desires. The expectation of God concerning every life

is to yield fruits unto godliness.

Commitment means a willingness to give time and energy to something or someone that you

believe has a promising future. If we have a project and we're committed to it, we have an expectation

concerning the project that is the reason why you put in your commitment. The reason why we are

committing ourselves to reading, going for examinations and night classes is because we have an

expectation that we want a promising future out of Academics. One simple proof that God is

committed to us is that daily He load us with benefits and because God is concerned about our lives, our

lives have a promising future in the hands of God if we submit them to Him.

In this journey, traveling with every friend will delay you, which is why at some point,

Abraham and Lot separated, you must know the type of company you keep because of the awareness of

God's commitment to your life. The reason why I'll wake up in the morning and commune with God is

because I know God is committed to me. Understanding God's perspective helps to better position

yourself rightly for this journey. God's commitment to our life is shown by his constant call for our

salvation, he has a plan and purpose that is peculiar to you. How beautiful a thought to think, that the

One who made the heavens and all the glories of the earth has pledge his allegiance to our lives. Our

response to this call will simply be, to put our trust in Him and give ourselves to the deliberate and

diligent study of His word and prayer. We are to present ourselves as living sacrifices, after all, that is the

only reasonable service the master requires. FSF
