In 2011, Discovery Networks came to us with a challenge: Could we help them to establish a stronger profile in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, driving more subscribers?

Focusing on the three main channels in Discovery Network‘s portfolio, we designed a massive media relations initiative based on the most compelling content in the eyes of a Czech & Slovak viewer. To maximize engagement, we started to manage the social and online positioning of the brand with our sister company Manage Social.

THE RESULTS
More than 100 quality programming-related media placements about Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC and other channels since 2012.
We are proud that month on month, our articles make our client’s CEEMEA Wall of Fame and we’ve put the Czech Republic & Slovakia on the map!

THE RESULTS
• Facebook: In less that one year we recruited 24 000 new fans from the CzechRepublic and Slovakia.
• Facebook fan page measured in September 2012 as having not only highest month-over- month growth for all Discovery Network fan pages, but also highest engagement,reaching over 2.5 times their existing fan base.
• Our social media engagement for Discovery ranks amongst the top 3 countries IN THE WORLD.
