¨ Poco frecuente à importante por tener carácter hereditario AD

¨ Disfunción de proteína menina, codificada gen MEN1 (Cr 11)
¨ Estudiado desde 1997 à 1336 diferentes mutaciones.
¨ Menina: proteína nuclear, función no claraà interacción con proteínasimplicadas en regulación de transcripción, estabilidad genoma, divisióncelular y proliferación.
¨ > 10% mutaciones de novo, transmitidas a las generaciones siguientes
