SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIAThis scholarship has been established in memory of Stephanie Carroll, long-time valued NADONA employee. It will be awardedto a nursing student enrolled in an accredited nursing program who has chosen Long-Term Care or Geriatrics as their practicearea after graduation. Nursing students in an undergraduate or graduate program are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.The following guidelines have been developed for this scholarship.

1. Proof of acceptance to a nursing program for the 2017-18 academic year and accreditation must accompany the application. 2. Applicant must make a commitment to practice in long-term care or geriatrics for at least two years after graduation. 3. Applicant should include an organized list of school-related expenses with a final total.

4. Applicant must submit with their application a double-spaced essay of NO LESS THAN 100 WORDS. This essay must include the following: • Describe why you have chosen nursing as a career. • Discuss why you are seeking this degree and how it will impact your nursing practice. • Describe your commitment to the nursing profession, including your goals for your nursing career after graduation. 5. NADONA has a room block for the evenings of Thursday, July 13, 2017 through Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Subject to availability, group rates will apply three (3) days prior to and three (3) days following the dates of the event.The contracted room rate for each night is $159 (single/double occupancy) per night plus tax and applicable charges. The NADONA room block cutoff date is Monday, June 19, 2017.After June 19, the group rate expires and rates may increase. The hotel allowsindividual attendees the right to cancel their guestroom reservations withoutpenalty up to five days prior to their scheduled arrival date.

Please note that NADONA is financially responsible for all hotel rooms reserved in the group block. Any rooms not sold are still billed to NADONA in the form of attrition. NADONA asks for your support in booking only the Disney’s Coronad Springs Resort to ensure the room block is filled. Please reserve hotel rooms realistically and cancel any unneeded rooms with as muchnotice as possible.

Please pack any valuables, medications or anything youneed immediately upon your arrival in Orlando in a carry-on bag—and have your MagicBand with you and easily accessible at the airport and when you ar-rive at your Disney Resort hotel. You do not need to be in your room to receiveyour luggage.

If your flight arrives before 5:00 AM or after 10:00 PM, please collect your luggageat baggage claim to bring with you on the motorcoach.
