Procedure

BI launch pad

1. Press any key or click anywhere to continueReport 1(1) is showing a vertical table for Sales Figures per Region.

Turn the table from Report 1(1) into a pie chart.

Duplicate Report 1, and add a column chart to thenew report.

Press any key or click anywhere to continue.

2. Click the arrow beside the Turn Into box.




3. Click Pie.




4. Click the Graph.Report 1(1) shows a pie chart for Sales Figures per Region.




5. Click Report 1.Duplicate Report 1 and add a column chart to the new report.




6. Click Page Setup.




7. Click Duplicate Report.




8. Click Report Elements.




9. Click the arrow beside the Chart box.




10. Click Column.




11. Click Click to insert the charthere.




12. Right-click the Graph.Select Region in the Category Axis and Net Sales in the Value Axis 1




13. Click Edit.




14. Click the arrow beside the Category Axis box.




15. Click Region.




16. Click the arrow beside the Pick... box.




17. Click Net Sales.




18. Click OK.




19. Click Report 1(1).Report 1(2) is showing Sales Figures per Region in a vertical table and in a column chart.




20. Click Report 1.Report 1(1) is showing Sales Figures per Region in a pie chart.




21. Press any key or click anywhere to exit the activity.Report 1 is showing Sales Figures per Region in a vertical table.

You have successfully turned a table into a pie chart, duplicated a report, and added a column chart to the report.
