We’ve put together a few simple display ideas that you may be able to use in
your shop to help you sell Stylecraft wool.
DISPLAY IDEAS
Fill anything you like with wool, just embrace colour and have fun.
Don’t be afraid to mix clashing colours.
Here we’ve used:
Classique Cotton in Fondant,
Shrimp and Seville.
Here we’ve used:
Classique Cotton in Hot Pink, Soft Lime
and Lavender.
Use colours in threes to create impact.
Here we’ve used:
Classique Cotton in Soft
Lime, Leaf and Tropical
Jade.
Here we’ve used a selection of Special DK
in an old suitcase.
Mix patterns with plains, light and
dark shades to create impact and
multiple purchases.
Display wool in cubes to
create height. This is useful
in a window.
Here we’ve used;
Merry Go Round in Strawberry, Sunshine and
Blue Denim.
Wondersoft DK in Petal Pink, Poppy,
Buttercup, White, Powder Blue and Sky Blue.
Embark on a bit of “Blue Peter” DIY and make a few simple props.
Here we’ve used:
Special Effects in Rumba, Special
DK in Plum and Meadow.
Special Effects in Charleston,
Special DK in Shrimp and Mocha.
These are just five pieces of dowling glued
into five holes in a piece of wood.
Make some peg boards and
use to show a complete range
of wool and mix in plains to
break up the busyness of the
patterns.
Make a rope ladder and use it to show a
complete range. Hang from the ceiling or
against a wall to create interest and
height.
This is just pieces of dowling with a hole drilled in
each end and then threaded on to a rope.
Secure the dowling by fastening a safety pin
under each piece of dowling into the rope.
Here we’ve used:
Shades of Classique Cotton.
Pop some wiggly twigs into a bucket of sand and thread on balls of wool.
Secure wool to twigs by
wrapping a piece of loop
Velcro around the twig, slide on
your ball of wool and it’ll stick to
the Velcro.
Here we’ve used:
Malabar in Jade, Lime,
Mandarin, Lavender and
Amethyst.
Have fun making Pom Pom Bunting, or get your customers to join in, and make a
pom pom of each colour to show a full colour range.
Keep a long end on
each of the pom
poms and simply tie
onto cotton tape
and hang.
Here we’ve used:
Alpaca Chunky in
Cream, Red, Sage,
Teal, Mistral and
Orchid.
With compliments
