    TIME

MANAGEMENTWe understand that distance learnersmay approach their learning in dierentways and that some preer to blitz overa particular period rather than ollow

    systematically each week.

As a rough guide, we would usuallyrecommend that students on a distancelearning course dedicate around 15 hoursper week to their studies.

The majority o postgraduate courses havetwo modules per semester 1 and 2, othersstudy one module at a time over semesters

1,2 and 3.It is important that you work in a way whichbest suits you as an individual, and allowsyou to manage your time eectively andkeep on top o your workload and coursedeadlines.

I work commitments change or anemergency occurs, students who haveaccepted an unconditional oer and have

not started their studies can deer or oneyear and recommence the course later.

There are procedures in place ormitigating circumstances and theseare considered on a case-by-case basis.
