This practical presentation will be of interest to staff and faculty who need to develop and distribute information and learning over the internet. This presentation focuses on two broad goals: 1. This presentation will overview the basic capabilities of four types of software and provides examples that showcase multimedia capabilities.

• Jing • Adobe Presenter • Adobe Captivate 5 • Adobe Acrobat X

2. This presentation will offer illustrative examples of how the software can be used in Blackboard and Adobe Connect.

• Note: There is an Adobe Connect upgrade planned for April-May 2011 from version 7.5 to 8.

• Note: There is always a possibility of an upgrade from Blackboard CE8 to a newer version, or perhaps even moving to an alternate LMS, i.e., Moodle.
