Introduction

Welcome to the 2015 Distributor Training and Development Guide. All of the training plans have been completely updated for the new year, although their formats should look familiar. The front section contains our distributor readiness model and blended learning approach. Next is the training plan for new hires, followed by specific training plans for these market segments:

• Residential

• Light Commercial / Construction

• Industrial Control / OEM

• Industrial Facilities / Assemblies

As indicated in the blended learning approach, course tiers show the content that is covered in a specific class, and you can always refer to the Eaton University Classes and Registration system for more detail. The appendix section of this guide organizes the 2015 courses by format, title, location and date. It is our goal to provide you with impactful learning experiences as well as assistance in designing a relevant development plan.

• The training page and Eaton University are accessible from MyEaton, Eaton’s secure, self-service website by visiting Tools > Training > Eaton University

• Online courses and Web Session recordings are also available to Eaton distributors on BlueVoltT and NAED Learning Center (NLC)

As in the past, you can use the Eaton Distributor Advantage Program business development funds to cover training-related expenses (100 percent for training tuition and 75 percent for associated travel expenses).

Your feedback is welcome.

Regards,

Gary Zimmermann Sales Training Manager
