The 2452 District Governor Mr Mustafa Nasereddin will be vis-iting Cyprus Clubs between the 16th and 29th October.

Gala Dinner: Monday 26th Octo-ber 8 pm at Grand Pasha Hotel, Kyrenia

Dear Members,
We arranged to have Dinner at the Anchor Fish Restaurant - Dome Ho-tel—on the 9th of September. The evening was very successful with visiting Rotarians from Sweden, Scotland, and England. Despite the heat and the dust clouds the attendance was excellent.
The three Rotary Clubs of North Cyprus, through the initiative of President Sertaç Gümüş of the Rotary Club of St.Hilarion Kyrenia, ar-ranged a Global Grants Seminar at the Grand Pasha Hotel on Saturday September 5th. There was interest from members, the Seminar was very informative and proved to be a very valua-ble experience.
At the beginning of September our Rotaractors were busy with a Project in Schools concentrating on 'Literacy month'.
In conjunction with the St Hilarion Rotaractors they presented school books and stationery supplies to underprivileged children for the start of the new School Year. Their initiative was reported in the Turkish speaking Press.
Club News Round up
Our Rotaractor and Translator/Interpreter Evren Sahin has departed Cyprus to begin his Scholar-ship Masters of Law Year at the University of Amsterdam.
We will miss him and wish him the best of luck.
On October 11 the three Rotary Clubs of N Cyprus have arranged an ‘End of Summer’ Beach Party at Niyazi DenizKızı Hotel in Alsancak, starting at 11-00 a.m. The attendance tickets are 25 TL each and those attending shall pay for the food and beverages( very reasonably priced).
The 2452 District Governor, Mr Mustafa Nasereddin of Jordan, shall visit Cyprus between 16th and 29th October. Club members will remember meeting DG Mustafa in March at our Party Night to celebrate the anni-versary of Rotary at Dome Hotel.
Cyprus Assembly shall take place in Limassol on Saturday 24th October from 9.30 to 11.30 am.
Our Club shall be presenting our report on Monday 26th October from 10 a.m to 11.30 am at the Grand Pasha Hotel in Kyrenia.
A Gala Dinner has been arranged for that evening at 20.00 at the Grand Pasha. We hope all members will be able to attend, please confirm as soon as possible.

In September we also welcomed back Mr Halil Ergin as a member. Rtn Halil had previously been a member of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman from 1983 to 1996. His sponsor is Vice President Mustafa Guryel.
