The successful candidate will have the following qualities: Minimum Qualifications:
Illinois Administrative Endorsement required.
Administrative experience required, elementary experience preferred.
Experience opening a new school preferred.
Proven experience establishing high-achieving academics within a positive school culture.
Preferred Competencies Understands the elementary child and what is developmentally appropriate.
Knowledgeable of best practices in elementary curriculum & instruction, especially Rigby & Harcourt math, special education, gifted, RtI, early literacy skills, assessment.

Knowledgeable of applicable school law.
Knowledgeable of 21st century learning skills.
