1. This Addendum does not alter the previously published bid date. Changes to Contract Documents:

2. Drawing Sheet G2: In the drawings sheet index delete reference to Fire Protection sheets FP-001 and FP-201. No fire protection sheets will be provided. The fire protection is based on a performance specification. See revised sheet G2.

3. Drawings E102, E103, and E501: Add the following note to electrical sheets E102, E103, and E501 for Building F,

"Conduits installed exposed outside of the building shall be rigid galvanized steel conduit, PVC coated and pull boxes and enclosures for outdoor switches shall be NEMA 4X steel with protective coating." See attached revised drawings.

Questions: 4. Reference TIC Building; Sheet G2 states there should be (2) fire protection drawings.

However, the actual set of drawings does not include these sheets. Can you please provide these drawings as soon as possible?

There are no fire protection drawings. It is a performance specification. 5. Please provide an additional site visit date and time. No additional site visits will be allowed. 6. Please confirm existing building controls manufacturer/contractor for both the TIC and F

buildings. TIC: Connect to the existing system per note #1 on Sheet M-601. Building F: There are no existing building controls and are not required.

Meeting Minutes Date: June 5, 2014 Project name: TIC and Building F Renovations Purpose: Pre-Bid meeting Location: Blue Plains CMF building and Main and O street pumping station - Building F Present: Constance Schwartz - DC Water Consultant Amy McCarty - Samaha Associates Mark Henderson - Rand Construction Corey Thompson - Thompson Design Build Michael Thompson - Commercial Demolition John Vitale - Environmental Design and Construction Items of Discussion: A pre-bid meeting was held for the interior renovations at the TIC offices at the Blue Plains CMF building and the interior renovations at Building F at the Main and O street pumping station. TIC

1. Contractor will be required to provide access to the storage room behind the TIC offices that are being renovated at all times.

2. A location will be provided to the contractor for a dumpster on site. No construction trailers will be

required. 3. Parking for the workers will be coordinated at kick off. Parking will be limited and carpooling is

encouraged. 4. Wall and floor protection will be required in the hallways to protect existing surfaces to remain. 5. There is a possibility that one elevator may be used for taking materials in and out of the building.

Elevator usage will be clarified at the construction kick off. 6. Construction can start at 6am. Constance Schwartz will verify if there are any noise restrictions in

the building.

Building F

7. Demolition permit will need to be obtained by the contractor. 8. Hazmat report was completed on the building. There is not any asbestos on the interior of the

building but there is Lead based paint in the building. Refer to the specifications for Lead based paint requirements.

9. Building permit has been approved, but there were modifications to the drawings after the permit

was submitted that will need to be re-issued for permit. 10. DC Water will clear out all items to keep from the interiors of Building F and the buildings to be

demolished. Anything left in the buildings once construction starts shall be removed and disposed of.

Both Projects 11. The contractor shall submit monthly contracting and employment reports complying with DC

Water's Minority and Women Business Enterprise and Local Employment Compliance programs as required in the specifications.

12. All workers will need a picture ID to get on site. 13. No other site visits will be conducted. 14. Bids should be based on the documents, specs, and any addendums submitted only, no

assumptions are to be made. 15. Any questions should be submitted in writing by June 16th at 2pm. 16. Bids are due on June 25th at 2pm and shall be delivered to the procurement office.
