The action goal for this area related to student Industry Certification access for every student includes:
Continue to offer at least one industry certification opportunity to every student enrolled in a Career & Technical Education course during the 2019‐2020 school year.
Increase the rigor and connection of certifications on the Career & Technical Education course certification options list during the 2019‐2024 school years through consultation with pathway industry partners and experts.
Audit industry certification menu for increased opportunities to offer the most meaningful industry certification possible to students in each pathway, by each class, and by each teacher.
Provide apprenticeship instructors & Junior High STEM instructors OSHA Trainer Certification so they can provide students certification training.
Provide CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor Certification for Medical Career Instructors so they can provide students certification training.
Offer teachers the opportunity to obtain their Drone FFA pilot Instructor certification so they can provide students certification training.
Expand student welding certification opportunities to Emerald Ridge High School and Puyallup High School through virtual welder systems.
Implement Solid Professor delivery of CAD/Drafting certification training and testing.

The action goal for this area related to college Dual Credit access for every student includes:
Update every dual credit opportunity provided to students in each pathway, by each class, and by each teacher during the 2019‐2020 school year.
Ensure that the list of Career & Technical courses offered in 2019‐2020 have signed dual credit articulations if they are offered by the colleges.
Continue partnership development with Clover Park Technical College to develop nursing certification program with dual credit options students starting in the 2019‐2020 school year.
Continue partnership development with Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC) to establish dual credit opportunities in expanded apprenticeship opportunities available in the 2019‐2020 school year.
Continue to work with Pierce County Careers Connection to offer as many dual credit opportunities to students through relevant articulation agreements with local community and technical colleges throughout the 2019‐2024 school years.
Develop and implement CWU Teaching Academy partnership with connection to Pierce College satellite.

The action goal for this area related to Partnership through program connections with the community includes:
Establish a memorandum of understanding with Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC) for the partnership to develop and implement a manufacturing maintenance youth apprenticeship program – including consultations on equipment and staff training necessary to support the expansion in the 2019‐2020 school year.
Communicate information on the career and technical education programs to local employers through monthly coffee events that invite their participation in the advisory and/or student employment starting in the 2019‐2020 school year.
Continue the partnership with the Microsoft TEALS program to connect current professionals into computer science classroom for instructional support during the 2019‐2020 school year.
Partner with Future Operators of Washington (FOW) and Construction Center of Excellence (CCE) to connect students to apprenticeship, internship, and employment opportunities during the 2019‐2020 school year.
Partner with community business partners to support Ignite the Future events preparing students for careers and business takeovers to training DECA students on how businesses operate.
Support connection between FIRST Washington Robotics program connection to elementary AVID students.
Participate in ongoing Chamber conversations/projects that connect students to career information and experience.
Participate in Microsoft STEM hacking training with a teacher team that will then support the training of other teachers and remain connected to the Microsoft STEM hacking team for ongoing support of STEM development in CTE.
Partner with Korum Ford in the addition of an internship training program in the automotive field.
Participation of Photograph students in City of Puyallup community project for Meeker Days festival to showcase student work and serve the community.
