Ditkowsky -- Chemistry Periodicity Power-point presentation Requirements: Minimum 8 slides – maximum 10 1 st slide: Names all of the “groups” alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals, metalloids, halogens and noble gases. 2 nd slide shows metals and non-metals. 3rd slide: gives the formal definition for the term “periodic property” and the formal definition for your topic. 4 th slide: connects information from formal definition to experiences YOU have. 5th slide: Has a graphic (graph or periodic table showing relative scale) of the property you are explaining. 6 th slide: re-explains your topic in the context of periodicity – Why is your property considered to be a “periodic property”. 7 th slide: continues explanation. 8 th slide: credits any and all sources of information and provides links to any web-sites used. Assignments: No more than two students per group. One student is the “finder” that student

goes to “google” and clicks on “images” and finds pictures to use.

Once you find an image, go to the source web-site. Copy the picture and the “address” of the web-site. Save those.

At the end of each computer session. Save your work and e-mail it to BOTH yourself and your partner. If you do not have an e-mail address, GET ONE!!!
