HOW TO GET TO ALOR :

It is possible to reach Alor everyday from Bali , Jakarta and many other cities in Indonesia. For ease of the diving organization and the resort’s logistic , we implement an arrival / departure schedule and policy as follow: * Alor airport/resort transfer free of charge for scheduled arrivals /departures days every Sunday and Wednesday . * 65 € surcharge per person one way for non scheduled arrivals or departures -Transfer between Alor airport and Alor Divers: Our staff will welcome you upon arrival at Alor airport. 50 min car drive from the airport is followed by 20 min boat ride across Pantar Strait to reach the resort.

We are open from mid-March to mid-December; this is the best time of the year

regarding underwater visibility. Summer is very pleasant with dry and cool

nights; you might even consider a light jacket for the evening. There is almost

NO rain from June to October, and of course NO mosquito during this period. In

summer the sea can be choppy to rough, but dive sites are protected.

WHEN TO COME

Is there a season for marine life?

• After more than 8 years diving the Pantar strait we could observe a pattern

on macro life being more abundant from October to May , including

nudibranches. Coral fish are always abundant and pelagic is common

encounter.

• Sun fish (the famous Mola Mola ) is often spotted between July and

September, whales start to cross the strait in October.

For non divers:

• Just a few kicks in front of your bungalow the house reef is amazing, one of

the best snorkeling site in Alor. You can also join the dive boat but not all

sites are suitable for snorkeling.

• Visit the villages around, hike or just relax on the beach.
