What is our mandate?

Vision Statement:

The Midwest Section is committed to innovate, promote

and grow the game of tennis, creating a dynamic

inclusive culture in which diversity, differences and the

richness of ideas are valued; a culture where people of

all backgrounds and abilities actively participate to

shape the future of our organization.

The Definitions

The USTA/Midwest Section strongly supports the need for a diverse tennis eco-system, understanding that we are

all different and by appreciating and respecting these differences we can

embrace the valuable perspectives of all, including players, providers, coaches,

volunteers, and staff.

The USTA/Midwest is intentional in its ivv�ÀÌÃ�Ì���iÛiÀ>}i��ÕÀ�`�ÛiÀÃ�ÌÞ]�ÀiyiVÌ�Ûi�

of the society in which we exist and operate, to grow tennis.

DIVERSITY

The USTA/Midwest fosters an environment in which all individuals are

treated fairly and respectively, have equal access to opportunities and resources

and are empowered to contribute to the success of our Section.

The Section is welcoming and provides a sense of belonging by valuing and

practicing respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living in all segments of our tennis eco-system.
