Agenda
Keynote SpeakerRyan Wayman, Regional Vice President of AXA Advisors
Ryan Wayman was a sophomore in high school when he witnessed his uncle’s slow, painful decline and eventual death due to AIDS. e emotional, physical, and financial devastation that resulted left an indelible mark on Ryan, who vowed to devote his life to caring for others.
In his work as regional vice president of AXA Advisors and in his volunteer efforts, Ryan is following through on his commitment to serve others, particularly those in the LGBTQ community and their allies.
At AXA Portland, Ryan recruits, trains and mentors a diverse group of financial professionals who share his passion for helping others attain financial success and independence. He is also a trusted financial advisor who specializes in serving the LGBTQ and special-needs communities.
Outside of work, Ryan serves on the boards of directors of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Oregon State Board of Nursing, and the Oregon Small Business Advisory Council. He is also a past board member for Our House of Portland, PHAME, and the Q Center.
Ryan received the Portland Business Journal's "Forty under 40 Award," which recognizes professionals who have excelled in their field, shown tremendous leadership and are committed to the community.
