Dear Readers,

It's a matter of pride for us to be associated with all the Divinians through this first

issue of e-Newsletter that is a new version of Divine Spectrum (Annual Newsletter).

In this most challenging time of Pandemic 2020, thanks to various social / digital

platforms available to share our views on different subjects.

The excitement and anticipation of a new session came to an abrupt halt when the

COVID-19, which had already made its presence felt in China in December 19,

raised its ugly and dreadful head to make its entry in India also.

The lockdown during April 20, world over brought many changes in our lives and

paved the way for an IT revolution. As they say “THE SHOW MUST GO ON” the educators and the other

stake holders all over India came-up with the idea of online classes to carry on the teaching-learning process

unhindered and uninterrupted. Not only the traditional text book teaching but also, the co-curricular

activities were carried out in an innovative and novel manner.

Here are the glimpses of the online activities during the month of April 2020 to June 2020.

Manan Budhraja

SELF-DISCIPLINELife is a cycle consisting of time spans. Once a span is over, it never comes back. Every segment of the cycle, reflects an experience. This collective experience concludes the state of one's life. Everyone wants to live the life of comfort, of one's own aspirations. Everyone wants a life which gives us happiness, with no regrets. The experience tags one term, which is known as discipline. The disciplined life is more or less a balanced life. Once you are disciplined, you come across varied issue but you learn how to face them. Discipline is one of the most

important virtues which human beings could incorporate to their lifestyles. Discipline is divided into two categories; one is discipline, a general term and the other is 'Self Discipline'. While former term is used in the context of regimentation or imposed disciplined, which one takes from the outside agency, the other form is “Self-Discipline”, inferring 'Self Control'. It is not easy to live in under the aegis of imposed discipline comfortably. At times, under imposed discipline one feels caged and helpless too. It is not effective over a given life cycle. However, the dos and don'ts are decided by one's own self. 'Self-Discipline' is in fact, a life style which depends on 'Principled Life'. You set certain norms, which become guiding spirit. You do not need a lot of times for taking any decision. You take decisions on your own for which you do not have regrets at any stage of time. So, you must try to identify and understand the ways in which you can be self-disciplined. Once you are self-disciplined, you should aim to make it a part of your lifestyle, as you may not require anybody to steer your life. Believe it or not, once it is realised, your life becomes yours.

Before I conclude, I remember a quote 'Self-discipline' is the magic power that makes you virtually unstoppable.
