ADMINISTRATION OF THE SPECIAL PHILIPPINE EDUCATIONAL PLACEMENT TEST (PEPT)

To: Assistant Schools Division SuperintendentsEducation Program SupervisorsPublic Schools District SupervisorsHeads, Public and Private Elementary and Secondary SchoolsVocational/Trade School Administrators/OICsAll Others Concerned

1. As per DepEd Order No. 55, s. 2016 entitled Policy Guidelines on the National Assessmentof Student Learning for the K to 12 Basic Education Program, the Department of Education throughthe Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) with the assistance of the Schools Division Office, shalladminister the Special Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) for the School Year 2018-2019at Bajet Castillo High School, Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan on June 10,2018 (Sunday) at 7:00am.

2. Only youths/adults/pupils/students who have been out of school and overage in school byat least one (1) year and who are Filipino citizens shall be qualified for registration. The registeringofficials shall ensure that the requirements for registration are strictly enforced and complied with.

3. Aside from the prescribed necessary age, the prospective registrants should submit thefollowing requirements upon registration (All documents must be counterchecked/verified against theoriginal copies):

a. A photocopy of birth certificate;b. A photocopy of latest report card (elementary form 138)/

form 137 (high school);c. Two (2) identical 1JJ x 1JJ pictures; andd. Permit to Operate of the school (if from Private School)

4. To ensure quality and efficient administration of the PEPT, there will be an orientation on theadministration of the said test on June 8, 2018, Friday at Bajet Castillo HS-Conference Room, 1:00-5:00pm. Participants to this orientation are the DTC, PEPT Personnel, Room Examiners/Supervisorsand Technical Support/Staff.

5. The time, room assignment, list of examinees and names of room examiners are indicatedin Enclosure No. 1, while the work committee is found in Enclosure No.2 of this Memorandum.

6. All expenses incidental to the conduct of this orientation/administration of PEPT includingfoods, handouts, traveling expenses of BEA representative, certificates, and documentation will becharged against DIVISION MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

7. Cooperation of everyone is enjoined to ensure reliable and orderly administration of thePEPT.

8. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
