Building a healthier community, one child at a time www.lifebridgehealth.org Division of Pediatric Surgery The Division of Pediatric Surgery provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of conditions and congenital malformations. Our pediatric surgeons have experience using new technologies such as minimally invasive pediatric laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery. Along with pediatric gastroenterologist colleagues, our surgeons have clinical experience managing anorectal anomalies, gastroesophageal reflux, intestinal conditions and biliary tract anomalies. As part of a multidisciplinary team, our pediatric surgeons also provide specialized care to infants, children and adolescents with benign and malignant tumors of the abdomen, chest and extremities. Our new facility supports the family-centered care philosophy and features private inpatient rooms with a sleep area for the parents. Young surgery patients also receive exceptional care in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. We value the critical role that parents play in their child’s recovery and engage them in making decisions about all aspects of their child’s care.
