Following our tradition to decorate home with twist of science

CELEBRATING DIWALI WITH SPIRIT TO MAKE!Diwali is the festival of light and joy. For kids its festival bringing many

memories and fun.  It has been always a tradition that family tries to decorate

home with diyas, rangolis and send greeting cards to each other.

Respire Experiential Learning is giving a scientific twist to this Diwali. We are

organizing a Make It Yourself Diwali props based on various scientific

principles. This will help children not just to decorate the home on their own.

 But also they will apply various scientific facts and technologies to make

them. This is a small step towards the dream of "Make in India".

ACTIVITIES IN DIWALI WITH SCIENCE

Electric Paper Toran - Learning electrical

connection using LED light strip and simple

circuits

 

Paper circuit Diyas - Learning latest paper

circuit from copper to make electric connections

Floating Electric Lamps -Simple floating lamps

using glow in dark colors and batteries. The

understanding principle of Phosphorescence.

AcidBase indictor based Rangoli -Making

Rangoli using principle of base indicator color

change.

Chemical Lava Lamp - Colourful lava lamps in

bottles using the principle of surface tension,

immiscibility and acid/base.

Grades: Class 1 to Class 9

Fees: Rs. 500 /students (Includes all material,

faculty, takeaways)

Time: 3 hours workshop
